Akaashi Keiji x Reader: Hands

Idk this can probably be a sequel to my other fanfic (Akaashi Keiji x Reader: Texts From A Stranger ) but it can be read without the first one too I guess? 
This is just smtg for those who would enjoy very cheesy fluff

It started with conversations through your favourite app.

"Would you consider our outing tomorrow as a date or just a hangout with a friend?"

"Well which once would you want me to consider this as?"

"...A date?" 

"It's a date then."

Fast forward to a couple of weeks after the succesful date where the both of you never stopped talking to each other every day. 

--

"You know what? I really like you. Talking to you makes me happy and content." 

"...
I really don't know what to say now but I'll allow you to hold my hand during our next date" 

"...Achievement unlocked" 

"God, u nerd"

You had no idea how would he hold your hand. Considering his shyness, you thought about tiny gestures such as linking pinky fingers or very light hand touching.

You hurried to the placed where you promised to meet up at as you were extremely late. It was your first time taking the train alone and due to your clumsiness that had an extremely right timing, of course you got into the wrong train and only realised it half and hour later. 

You were two hours late. 

The moment you saw him in person again, you were fueled with excitement. You could see his eyes widening like yours as he rushed to you with open arms where you did the same. However, imediately realising what was he going for made him draw back instantly with redness at his ears. You were secretly disappointed. 

And so, the both of you walked together in an awkward silence. You could not help but to pay attention to his twitching hand. 

Finally, it reached out to yours. It was not like how you imagined. He intwined his fingers with yours. That was when you noticed that his palm and fingertips were actually very rough despite the delicate appearence. You couldn't help but to smile at how warm and comfortable it was. 

...And to laugh at his lack of experience. 

The way he held it was actually really awkward as it made it harder for you to walk together. He was shocked when you let go and confused when you shifted the position a little. 

After his fifth time repeating the same thing, you decided to say something. 

"Kaashi, you're actually quite bad at this," you giggled. 

"Well, does that mean you have a lot of experience since you're good at this?" He smirked. 

"Uuuuuhhh no, but I read a lot"

"A lot of what?" 

He knew that it was all the gay fanfiction and comics that you talk about, but getting you to say it out in person was strangely amusing. 

"Stuff you would not want to read," you who knew that he had an exact idea about what you were talking about could not contain your laughter anymore. Not long after, he joined your fits of giggles. It was really nice seeing him loosen up.

Time passed very quickly when you had fun. In a few minutes, you had to take your leave. 

"Can I like get a hug or something?" 

That face of him was priceless. One hand was covering his sight but the blush that went from his ears to his neck was something you could never neglect. 

He put his arms around you. He entire being was extremely stiff. Before you had enough, he pointed out quietly that it was really awkward. You reluctantly let go and prepared to take your leave.

"Hey I just got in the train" 

"Take care, have a safe trip.
.. 
.. To be honest I had a life changing experience"

"??!!"

"I got to hug a girl" 

"Lmao same I got to hug a guy
..Also, that was a rather half-assed hug tbh" 

"I was shy come on..." 

"I will be expecting a more satisfying hug the next time I meet you"
